Member Feedback

This was our first time doing a CSA and really could not have been happier. Each week there is a well informed e-mail that is sent out with farm news, what is in the shares, u-pick opportunities and recipes. Our shares we hardy in size and of store quality. We only wish we lived closer to the farm so we could take better advantage of the u-pick opportunities. We honestly could not have asked for a better experience with our first CSA.

"I love it! Great variety and you have introduced me to new things. I have been using all my veggies each week but have to be careful when picking not to get carried away. I enjoy picking on Friday to transition from the work week to the weekend. It is beautiful and relaxing on the farm and fun to see what is going on there. I am always impressed by how hard you two work. Glad you have a new tractor! Thank you for everything!"

"We love, love, love the CSA and Hartwood Farm. Seriously. The veggies are delicious and my kids love to come on U-Pick days. I especially love the communication -- the newsletter and FB pages are my absolutely favorites, I truly enjoy all of the information you convey about farming methods, challenges, victories and other tidbits. Thank you, thank you for a great year so far and we can't wait to eat your tomatoes, potatoes and all other things yummy!"

"You both did a wonderful job. Both our immediate and extended family (when we left enough to share!) were extremely happy with everything, and always looked forward to every Tuesday! We can't wait until next year."

"Thank you for welcoming us out to the farm so we could get to know you! We loved volunteering and are very impressed with your commitment to organic and feeding others well. We love our CSA farmers!"

"Very happy with your CSA! I have been a member of other CSAs and yours is the best. Veggies that like and use, very very clean, and great you pick garden. Mary Ellen is always so helpful, knowledge and friendly. i would glad recommend Hartwood and am looking forward to next year."

"I gave this CSA as a Christmas gift to my daughter. She loved it. You might suggest this to families... it is a gift that keeps on giving."
