…our farm, our farmers, and how we grow our produce!
See what vegetables we are growing, check out our happy hens (and their delicious eggs), or stop by our farm blog.
Hartwood Farm lies in the hills of Fenner, NY between Chittenango and Cazenovia, just up the hill from Chittenango Falls State Park. We provide the greater Syracuse and Madison County region with produce through local farmers markets and a community supported agriculture (or CSA) program.
Our harvest season begins in late May and runs to December. (Our CSA season runs from mid-June to mid-October). Our crops include pretty much every vegetable that grows in the CNY region.
We grow vegetables on 4 acres and use only methods approved for organic production for the crops. We use the rest of our land for hay and mulch crops and to pasture our hens.
We are open to the public by appointment. We do work with school groups and are available to attend or speak at your local food, farming, or environmental events.
We look forward to growing for you!
2015 CSA shares will go on sale around the New Year!
